Mark's TT 427 LSx -- Driving Impressions

In short, it is really really fast lol.  We have not run any real boost yet (Less than 6psi) but on dry roads in 30-degree weather it spins the tires easily at any speed.  Now all we have to do is upgrade the tranny cooler and oil coolers and she is ready to hit the dyno :)

Mark's TT 427 LSx Build

She has actually been up and running for a couple weeks now but the weather has hindered progress on getting an adequate number of "Break-in" miles on it.  That being said, we are hopeful to get it on the dyno for some preliminary and lower boost pulls within the week :)

Here are a few "In progress" pics:

Completed and dyno pics to come!

Few pics of Caravaggio Interior pieces :)

We didn't open all the boxes but here are a few shots of some of the pieces we got back from Caravaggio for Chris' C6Z:

No seats or nitrous bottle here just yet but we finally have enough here now to start putting it all back together again :)

Stay tuned for installed pics!

Caravaggio Interior !!!

Holy Moly the interior is here!  The car has been sitting for so long I hope it remembers how fast it is once all the new suede and alcantara and leather interior pieces get installed.  No fun pics yet but here is everything as it arrived yesterday:

Jerry's C6Z -- 4L80 Progress Pics x 2

Everything is finally "In" :)  :)
If only it all didn't have to come back out at least one more time...

Pfadt solid mounts, a little more massaging, and a harness installed and it is time to get the cage in the car and get this ready to head back down south  :)

Supercharged Escalade

Brad brought his Supercharged & Cam'd Escalade by for general maintenance before trading it in.  The bad news is his 537rwhp SUV is gone, the good news is that his modded C63 AMG will be here soon :)

Mike's Camaro SS

One of our favorite Camaro's is back once again for more :)
Can't wait to get back in and start upgrading the upgrades!  Fast is never ever fast enough :)

F-150 Long-tube Headers

We installed a set of Dynatech Long-tube headers to compliment the MBRP cat-back to really deepen up the exhaust note!  Now it's time to get the Procharger installed!

Jerry's C6Z -- 4L80 Progress Pics

With the 4L80 and associative parts back from RPM Transmissions and a few cars wrapped up that we were in the middle of, it was time to start the fun process of fitting the 4L80 in the car.  Over the past week the entire interior has been removed and the transmission and torque-tube have been raised and lowered about 47 times :)

It isn't 100% in just yet but it is getting much closer.  Once the tranny-swap is 100% complete we will get the custom-cage installed and then all that is left is tuning before she heads back down south to enjoy warmer weather.

Here are a few progress pics:

Steve's C6 Update

Steve is our kind of Vette owner :)

Steve decided that the cam upgrade would not be good enough so we pulled the stock engine out completely and upgraded to a built LS7 427 :)

Once the engine arrives we will start getting it built and back in the car with the blower and all the other goodies to see what this new set-up will be able to make.  Can't wait to hear it fire up!

Jim's TBSS -- DONE :)

Jim is back in his TBSS just in time to enjoy all the snow (It is AWD) :)  He is busy putting break-in miles on it so that we can have a few miles on the new engine before finishing up the tune and seeing what kind of power it puts down on our AWD DynoJet.

John's FRC

John dropped off his C5 for a simple E-brake cable replacement that turned into a whole lot more.  The original crank pulley was literally falling apart so a replacement was in order quicky.  An upgraded unit from SLP with a new set of OEM GM tensioners and pulleys and belts did the trick!  Got her back on its feet in just a couple days and as good as new!

Paul's C5

We got Paul's C5 all buttoned-up with its new LS7 Clutch Kit and new slave and master cylinders.  While we were waiting on the clutch to arrive we had the tranny shipped out to make sure everything was solid.  RPM Transmissions replaced the seals, upgraded the shift pads and synchros and upgraded the 3-4 shift-fork.  With that service done and the tranny shipped back from RPM we got it all back together that same day.

Now Paul has to wait until spring to get a chance to break the new clutch in and really drive the car again :)

1999 Mustang GT

Chris towed in his 1999 Mustang GT for a new Walbro 255 Fuel Pump and a fresh set of tires.  Yes, we do general maintenance all the time for our sports / luxury car clients and in this case saved Chris a bundle over what the dealership and everyone else he could find was quoting him :)

Jim's TBSS Engine Installed / Running

With a few "Relatively" minor changes in the plan Jim's engine is finally all together and up and running :)  The short-block needed a few more upgrades than we originally planned but we finally got the engine assembled all back in:

Back to an Orange Shell :)

Well, Mark's Z06 is back to a shell of its former self -- literally :)

The engine is out didn't have one ounce of anything in the oil.  Perfect.  It hurts a little pulling a perfectly running engine but better to be safe than sorry:

The TH400 from RPM never skipped a beat but, again, better to have it gone through and make sure everything is 100% for the spring:

The turbo is on its way back to Tial to get upgraded so I didn't get a pic of it prior to being boxed up.  I will take a few once it gets back for sure :)

Getting Ready for 2011 :)

You really didn't think we were going to be OK with running low low 8's did you??

Steve's C6 Update

Steve decided to add a cam into the mix so we are waiting on the cam to arrive to button things up on the install.  The cool thing is instead of crossing over into the 600rwhp range the cam addition will jump power into the upper 600rwhp range :)

In the mean-time, here she is waiting for the cam to arrive:

Steve's 2009 C6

Steve dropped off his 2009 C6 off for us to add his Vette into our growing collection of 600+rwhp cars.  To that end, we are installing an A&A Supercharger kit and a set of Kooks 1 7/8" Long-tube Headers and a tune.

Here is the last pic of it with just bolt-on's:

Paul's C5 Clutch

Paul broke his clutch in a way we are not sure we have ever seen before:

The disc face itself isn't all that bad but it just physically broke-apart lol.  Guess all that power we added a few months ago was too much for it :)  The brand new GM LS7 replacement is on its way and then it will be back on its feet and back out on the road.

Jim's Kenne Bell SRT8 Challenger -- Finished Pics

We finished Jim's Challenger SRT8 yesterday.  We uploaded the tune via a Diablosport Predator and she fired right up and sounded awesome :)  The Kenne Bell looks incredible under the hood and we can't wait to get it strapped down on the dyno to get some numbers!  All that is left is the install of the exhaust cut-outs and it will be ready to do a few pulls.  Stay tuned!

Here are a few engine bay pics in the mean-time:

Jim's TBSS Engine Build

The engine is back!  Here are a few pics before she starts to go all together:

Cliff's Corvette Going Home :)

Cliff picked up his C5 yesterday and can't wait to come back for more goodies this winter :)

The Valve Cover Says It All...

C5 Clutch Replacement

Paul unfortunately had to tow his C5 into us for a transmission / clutch problem.  After a diagnosis today, it looks like a new clutch is in order.  Clutch will be here soon and we will get this great-looking Vette back on the road before the snow flies :)

C5 Diff Install

Todd's C5 is up in the air waiting on his Diff to get back from RPM Transmissions this week.  With any luck we will have him back on the road this weekend :)
